£35 cosy suede boots that look just like designer pair

If you’ve had your eye on a pair of cosy sheepskin-style boots this winter but don’t fancy spending the triple-digit price tag of a designer version, Amazon shoppers think they’ve found the answer.

The Dream Pairs platform snow boots are currently £35.24, down from £46.99, and they look strikingly like a far-pricier designer brand.  

They come in women’s sizes 3 to 9 and three colours — chestnut, black and grey — so you can be sure they’ll go with your winter wardrobe. The boots have platforms that gives them a modern feel without straying too far from the familiar cosy shape everyone loves. 

The boots are lined with a thick, soft faux-fur interior for warmth and cushioning. I think they’re ideal for cold school runs, dog walks or just pottering around at home on a chilly morning. The outer is made from suede, and while we’re not convinced you’d want to trudge through snow in them, the brand says they are splash-proof. 

One happy customer wrote: “These boots are the same as the much more expensive brand and yet the fit is better! I tried to get the expensive pair but the ankle was too narrow to get them on. I ordered a pair in each colour, to my utter delight they fit like a glove.”

Another shopper added: “My pre teen loves luxury items but I always feel it’s ridiculous to buy her the real deal when she outgrows everything within a year.” The review goes on to say that the boots “are so warm and look well-made. The platform sole adds a bit of height but is still flat enough to be comfortable for long stretches. It has a grippy tread too, which is handy when the pavements get slick in colder weather.”

A few shoppers mention that these run slightly small, so sizing up might be wise if you’re between sizes or plan to wear thicker socks.
