Samsung smart watch now less than £100 in Wowcher deal

Tech shoppers in search of a new smart watch that won’t break the bank will want to check out Wowcher’s latest deal on the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro LTE 45mm Smart Watch. Shoppers who don’t mind a second-hand accessory can find the wearable for a much cheaper price.

This gadget is no longer available on the Samsung website, making Wowcher one of the few places it can still be purchased, along with fellow second hand retailer BackMarket one of the only few places it can be found.

The watch first launched in 2022 with a retail price of £429, however, Wowcher is now offering a refurbished version of the gadget from £69. This price is for a ‘Grade C/Fair’ condition smart watch, which the retailer describes as: “A working product in average cosmetic condition. May have very noticeable scratches and show wear and tear.”

For shoppers who would prefer a ‘Grade A/Very good’ Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro, it’ll cost £99. Wowcher says: “Expect only minor cosmetic blemishes visible on close inspection – overall appearance is close to pristine. All features work perfectly.”

The black smart watch is compatible with 2025 Samsung phones and offers a ‘premium build’ with ‘exceptional durability’ thanks to its sapphire crystal AMOLED display and titanium case, while it may not have all the features of a flagship Galaxy Watch 7 it’s an option for those with less to spend.

As well as tracking various fitness goals, the watch offers advanced sleep analysis and a built-in GPS for accurate route and workout tracking.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro LTE also boasts a variety of health features, including a 3-in-1 BioActive sensor that tracks heart rate, ECG, and body composition. The device also keeps the wearer connected with it, receiving calls, texts, and notifications, and boasts an impressive battery life of up to 80 hours (two to three days) on a single charge.

For shoppers who would prefer a brand-new smart watch, Argos has the Garmin Vivoactive 5 Smart Watch priced at £229.99. This device comes in four colours and offers up to 11 days of battery life.

A more budget-friendly alternative is this Amazon smart watch, which is currently on sale for £49.99. It comes in six different colours and has a battery life of up to one week.

One customer who reviewed the Galaxy Watch5 Pro LTE on the Samsung website before it was discontinued said: “This watch strikes the perfect balance between style, functionality, and performance. Whether you’re tracking your fitness goals, staying connected, or simply looking for a stylish timepiece, this smartwatch is a fantastic choice. It’s a worthy addition to Samsung’s ecosystem and an excellent option for smart watch enthusiasts.”

Unfortunately, one buyer was less impressed, as they noted: “Bad battery, disconnects from phone a lot, notifications don’t come up.”

Wowcher has received high praise on Trustpilot for its refurbished tech deals. One buyer rated the company five stars and said: “Purchased a refurbished MacBook Pro at an unbeatable reduced price. As a MacBook user for over a decade and a half, I am impressed with the quality of the product.”

Another said: “I have just ordered a brand new 7″ screen smartphone at an unbelievably low price – lower than a replacement LCD screen on my current mobile. Looking forward to its delivery.”

One Wowcher customer who ordered a refurbished Apple Watch was left disappointed, however. They explained: “When it arrived, it was battered, scratched and in an unacceptable condition. The battery health was ‘severely depleted’, making me question what level of refurbishment had actually been done.”
