Tesco shoppers snap up school uniform deals from £3.75

Kids may be excited by the arrival of the summer holidays, but parents will already be thinking about getting a head start on back-to-school shopping.

Luckily, Tesco shoppers can take advantage of a limited-time promotion offering Clubcard members 25% off F&F school uniform to help families with the expense that comes with a new term. Available until July 26, this deal means that shoppers can save on everything from polo shirts and trousers to sweatshirts and pinafores.

All customers need to do is enter their Clubcard details at the till – or register for a free Clubcard account online. It’s worth remembering that the loyalty card comes with a whole host of other perks, including the option to turn points into vouchers to save on days out and even holidays this summer with Tesco’s Clubcard reward partners.

Amongst the school uniform staples available are the F&F School Boys 3-Pack Slim Fit Short Sleeved Shirts, which begin at £5, falling to £3.75 with the 25% Clubcard reduction. Stocked in ages 4 to 16, the shirts are crafted from a cotton-rich material with an easy-iron finish to maintain their smart appearance throughout the year.

The shirts feature reinforced seams to help endure daily wear, and work out at £1.25 per shirt with the discount for the smaller sizes. Prices do rise for larger sizes, reaching £9 for aged 15-16, reduced to £6.75 with the discount, averaging £2.25 per shirt.

Perfect for PE lessons, shoppers can also snap up the F&F School Boys 3-Pack Pure Cotton Regular Fit Polo Shirts, which begin at £4.50 before the discount. Offered in 10 colours and sizes 3 to 16 years, they’re crafted from pure cotton and boast stain-repellent technology, which will undoubtedly be welcome news for parents.

The corresponding Girls’ 3-Pack Pure Cotton Regular Fit Polo Shirts also start at £4.50, featuring the same stain-resistant finish and hard-wearing fabric. Though these are only offered in two colour choices – white and blue – and sizes 3 to 16 years.

These come to £3.38 per pack following the Clubcard discount, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Tesco isn’t the only retailer running back-to-school deals – Decathlon has introduced a new ‘Middle Aisle’ throughout UK stores, featuring offers on school-ready trainers, rucksacks and water bottles. As part of the promotion, these Adidas Kids’ Advantage Rip-Tab Trainers have been slashed to £19.99.

At Next, meanwhile this pack of White Regular Fit 5 Pack Short Sleeve School Shirts (3-17yrs) begins at £20, working out at £4 each. They’ve secured a 4.7 star rating from 160 reviews.

Conversely, a drawback to much of Tesco’s uniform collection is an absence of customer reviews. None of the products have attracted any shopper feedback, which many parents may seek when making a purchase.

Elsewhere in the supermarket’s back-to-school range, the Boys 2-Pack Regular Fit School Trousers are priced from £7 and come in black, navy and grey, with slim and generous fits also available. Handy features include reinforced knees, adjustable waistbands and ingenious ‘grow with me’ hems, specially crafted to extend the life of uniforms through growth spurts.

For chillier days and the onset of winter, the F&F School Unisex 2-Pack Cotton Rich Sweatshirts boast ribbed cuffs and long-lasting colour to keep pupils looking smart throughout the academic year. Starting from £4 before the discount and £3 after, they work out at just £1.50 each.

The F&F Girls 2-Pack Regular Fit Pleated Pinafore Dresses, meanwhile, start from £9. Available in sizes 3 to 11 years, they feature permanent pleats, stain-repellent fabric and a convenient front zip fastening.

With the discount applied, the price drops to £6.75, averaging at £3.38 each. Older sizes are priced at £11, making them among the pricier items on the list, though they also represent one of the greatest savings available.

The 25% discount is exclusively available to Tesco Clubcard holders and runs until Saturday, July 26, presenting families with an ideal opportunity to stock up ahead of the back-to-school rush.
